4 day Kaikoura Supported Bicycle Tour

Our 4 day Kaikoura supported tour gives you a taste of New Zealand’s spectacular scenery with stunning mountain views and the beautiful coastal scenery of Kaikoura. You also have the backup of your knowledgeable local driver/guide and support vehicle.

This bicycle vacation starts from the garden city of Christchurch with an afternoon transfer to the thermal resort town of Hanmer Springs and a chance to familiarise yourself with the bikes & roads.

Day two starts with the tour proper as we head east to the mountain village of Mt Lyford via quiet backroads and the stunning Kaikoura Alps. From Mt Lyford it’s a challenging series of hills before being rewarded with a gentle coast to the Pacific Ocean and the lovely seaside village of Kaikoura.

We complete the tour with a chance to take in the many activities of this beautiful seaside town before heading back to Christchurch to finish.

Difficulty

Moderate-to demanding route with longer days, averaging 60 to 70kms per cycling day [43-49miles/day].
Note:- there is the backup of support vehicle if you find the cycling or weather to demanding

$1250 NZD p.p. twin/queen share 4-6cyclists [minimum 4 cyclists]
$1200 NZD p.p. twin/queen share 6 or more cyclists
