2 Day (Overnight) Supported Bicycle Tour
The route takes you from Christchurch and around the spectacular
volcano crater rim for an overnight stay at Governors Bay using
a selection of back roads. Throughout the tour you have the backup
of a Support vehicle & driver/ guide to lighten the load,
or if you need a rest.
Note: fully guided and off-road tours are available by arrangement.

Difficulty
This is an intermediate/demanding level route with an average
40 to 60 kilometres [25-38 miles] cycling per day on farm tracks,
sealed and unsealed roads, with a number of demanding hill climbs
along the route [support vehicle option recommended for beginner
–intermediate riders].
